Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. 2 Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge.
From the time I was a little girl in Illinois, I was fascinated by the stars. When my late husband, Daniel, and I were raising our boys in Montana, we had a pretty neat sky map we used to follow the constellations as they seemed to move across the sky with the seasons. Of course, it was really the Earth moving – and us with it – so when we looked up, the stars appear to have moved to a different place. We also had a telescope and a really good set of binoculars and between the two, there were many “heavenly objects” which took on new magnificence from the Moon to Venus, Jupiter, and even Mars.
The skies not only testified to me of God’s existence and His amazing role as Creator, so did the majestic mountains, and clear water lakes. I love that God knows each one of us, so He knows what will “speak” to each of us as He reveals Himself to us.
For some people I know, it has been in their own gardens that they have seen God revealed.
“Kiss of the sun for pardon.
Song of the birds for mirth.
You’re closer to God’s heart in a garden
Than any place on earth.”

John 3:16 God so loved the (whole) world that He sent His Son…
And when Jesus came, He brought the gift of grace that is for all of us –
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people,
1 Timothy 2:3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
God still reveals Himself in ways that people can recognize and seek Him. God promises that if we seek Him, we WILL find Him.
Jeremiah 29:12 You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
This is the reason that when I pray for people who who don’t know God, don’t yet have a relationship with God, that He will reveal to them in ways that they can recognize. I love praying that prayer, because I know He will always answer “yes” to it.
Savior Jesus, there aren’t enough words for me to thank you for what You have done for me, for coming to earth, for dying in my place, for offering me the free gift of salvation, for giving me Your righteousness, for blessing my life, and for being with me no matter what I go through, just as You promise You will for all of us. You know how I long for everyone and how especially I want the people who are dear to me, to have a relationship with You also. So, I ask You, again, to please reveal Yourself in ways to them so that they can recognize You for who You are and realize how much You love and care for them. Use whatever is the right means to do that and meet them where they are – just as You met me where I was. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
2 Corinthians 1:20 For every one of God’s promises is “Yes” in Him. Therefore, the “Amen” is also spoken through Him by us for God’s glory.
